Project crew handles a wide variety of tasks, installation of new equipment and demolition of old equipment in Body Shop/ Plant wide. Provide Assistance to Nissan Maintenance, with Corrective maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, on production related wide. Provide Assistance to Nissan Maintenance, with Corrective maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, on production related equipment. Installation and setup of robots, make necessary repairs on associated equipment, fab tooling, fixtures, ergonomic carts and racks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform highly diversified duties, to repair and maintain machinery & mechanical equipment, this could be anything from small weld fixtures to 7-axis slides and NC Locators.

  • Layout and setting of new equipment, leveling, and alignment critical.
  • Mig, Tig, and Stick welding.
  • Identify & Report potential equipment and plant problems to Lead Persons.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical equipment.
  • Use a variety of hand and Power tools, material handling equipment in performing duties set before you.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Basic Electrical Skills – voltage, ohm and amp readings
  • Basic Millwright skills/ Basic machine shop skills.

Scheduled Sequence Achievement Ratio (SSAR) Analyst monitors inventory levels for multiple part number commodities that ship via PDSN. Maintain adequate levels of parts to meet daily production demands while minimizing excess stock. Ability to walk, and stand for extended periods of time for inventory counts. This is a night shift position, (without end date or rotation schedule), high potential to work weekends, holidays and extended overtime.

Rough and finish carpentry, Plumbing ranging from clogged toilets to 24” underground mains, pipe fitting, structural iron work, welding, mechanical and electrical repairs of overhead doors, dock levelers, dock locks, reading electrical schematics, reading structural and utility prints, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, working with underground natural gas lines, repairing and maintaining fire systems, diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and starters, refrigeration components, purge units and replace components, troubleshoot and replace electric motors and pumps, diagnose and repair’s on cooling towers, chillers, and weld water skids.

Skills, knowledge, and traits:

Good mechanical knowledge and abilities, plumbing skills, general building and construction knowledge, ability to weld and fabricate, knowledge and troubleshooting abilities of relay logic controls, be willing to learn and take instruction, have good problem solving abilities, work well with others, have a team mentality, have knowledge of electrical motors and controls, should know how to use a multi meter.  We are a highly customer focused organization; as a result, some overtime is required to meet business needs.

Experience:

Yates Services is looking for a C.N.C. Technician to operate a 5 Axis Mazak Machining Center and Mazak Quick Turn 250 Lathe in Decherd, TN. Experienced individual in C.N.C. operation and general machine shop is preferred, but will provide training to the right motivated candidate.

Requirements

Great attitude and work ethic is required. Candidate should have good math skills and be able to communicate information accurately. Background knowledge of machine set-ups, editing and programming is preferred. Familiarity of machines with Mazatrol (or other similar controls) is a plus, excellent problem-solving skills and production knowledge is preferred.

This opening is a weekend position, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Days & Nights. Those candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered for an interview first.
