Job Description:

  • Your job will be to support the Nissan automotive production line in the building of quality vehicles.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Identifying, checking, sub-assembling, and “kitting” (sorting into containers) parts to be delivered to the production line for final vehicle assembly
    • Receive, count, and stock parts quickly and accurately
    • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards
  • Job includes plenty of active movement, being on your feet for entire shifts, and working at a rapid pace in order to keep the production line running on time. Our customers need their vehicles!

Envision AESC is the world’s leading battery technology company.  Our lithium-ion batteries can be found in more than 430,000 vehicles worldwide (and growing) and have an excellent track record of zero critical incidents.  As the company continues to expand, Envision AESC is seeking individuals to join our Smyrna, TN battery plant team as Production Associates. Night Shift will start out at $19.20 per hour, and weekend day shift will start at $20.13 per hour.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Assembly of lithium-ion batteries that are utilized in a variety of industries including automotive, non-automotive power equipment and home/business stationary storage.
  • Working as a member of various workstations along an assembly process in cell assembly, pack, material handling or other groups to produce lithium-ion batteries.
  • Assignment to different work stations/rotations as production needs require.
  • Sharing ideas and making recommendations on process design and manufacturing improvements to resolve issues, further increase product quality and maintain cost competitiveness.
  • Work with highly automated assembly equipment as well as other battery-powered hand tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to follow directions effectively
  • Available to work night and weekend shifts.
  • Able to work overtime as required to meet business needs
  • Speak, read and write fluent English
  • Customer-focused and pays close attention to detail
  • Strong team player who can work with others at all levels of the company
  • Able to follow all safety and apparel guidelines specific to each department.
  • Have a verifiable stable work history, with no experience necessary
  • Successfully complete chemical screen and thorough background checks to include Criminal History and work history
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
