Job Responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment according to specifications and instructions as well as ability to read diagrams, sketches, advanced blueprints and operation manuals.
  • Create and install electrical circuits for tools and plant equipment as well as test circuits in order to check for defects.
  • Inspect and clean equipment and troubleshoot, repair and replace faulty equipment.
  • Able to bend and run conduit (up to 4”).
  • Run wiring and hook-up disconnects.
  • Install, repair and/or replace switches, push buttons, circuits, panels, breakers, suppressors and transformers.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Technician will maintain HVAC equipment including but not limited to large AHU’s, RTU’s, pumps and pump motors, cooling tower, chillers, exhaust fans, heaters, dual temp water loop piping and valves, high temp piping and valves, heat exchangers, controls, instrumentation, metering, etc…
  • Technician will be required to perform PM’s as assigned on all equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and replace components.
  • Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, and supervision, to diagnose malfunction.
  • Technician must be able to Test components for pressures, temperatures, resistance, voltage, and other characteristics.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts of equipment.
  • Keep records on repair and calibration of equipment.
  • Diagnoses and replaces faulty refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical components of equipment such as relays, switches, motors, pressure and temperature sensing devices.
  • Troubleshoot and Replace electric motors and pumps.

Requirements:

  • Prefer a minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial setting
  • Chiller experience preferred
  • Must have Universal certification in refrigerant handling.
  • Able to logically work through mechanical problems and breakdowns.
  • Knowledge of power and hand tools
  • Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation
  • Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Able to work at heights in a safety harness
